Seeds Capital worked together with it’s Innovate Edge growth specialist, Iain Hemington, to secure grant funding from the RTO/Catapult project provided by innovate UK Edge. The funding will be used to develop a 1 year, £1 million R & D programme starting in February 2022 to deliver commercial outcomes across Seeds principal technology innovation areas which include battery electrode materials, supercapacitors and solar cells.

The scope for the project will involve a series of workshops together with the heads of technology at the CPI to assess the roadmap and R&D strategy. The project will explore the partnership landscape to identify suitable industrial collaborations for exploring the commercial potential of the materials..
