Seeds Capital received a grant award from Business Durham (Netpark owners) under the ‘Durham Future Innovation Building Programme’ (DFIB). The DFIB is a business innovation programme, funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) helping Durham businesses investing in research and innovation. Seeds will use the funding to support the Thin Film Solar Cell prototype which has the potential to be integrated onto glass panels of future smart cities to revolutionise the way energy is captured and stored.

We see Business Durham as a long-term strategic partnership. The funding and mentoring support received through the DFIB programme is enabling us to complete our growth objectives set for 2021, which will help us to expand our business, staff and partnerships, starting January 2022.
